No wins for TVD at PCA's

so disappointingly there were no wins for the cast of the Vampire Diaries last night at the Peoples choice awards. They were nominated in 3 catergories : Best TV drama, Best TV fantasy and Best TV drama actor (ian somerhalder). We lost Best TV drama to House , Best TV fantasy went to Fringe while Best TV drama actor went to hugh laurie (house) so a really disappointing night for the Vampire Diaries family after all the mass voting we did it just wasnt enough :( it was no surprise that none of the Vampire Diaries cast attended last night probably as they were tipped off that they wouldn't win. Even though we didnt win i think we should hold our heads up high as there is still a chance TVD could be nominated for an Emmy and many other awards so fingers crossed we come out on top for many other awards this year.

"Fans Show Their Support In Record Numbers by Casting 175 Million Votes for People’s Choice Awards 2011"

“We have seen a dramatic increase in votes over the past several years, from 13 million in 2009, to 62 million in 2010, to 175 million so far for the 2011 show.
