Julie Plec has revealed that Trevor will be returning on The Vampire Diaries.
The executive producer on the CW series spoke to Show Trackerabout the second season's remaining episodes, stating that Trevor, played by Trent Ford, will be making another appearance in the show despite being beheaded by Elijah earlier in the run.
"We will be seeing Trevor again this year," said Plec, who declared that the vampire would be returning in an upcoming flashback episode.
Plec went on to reveal when the villain Klaus would appear, saying that she is thrilled by the casting of British actor Joseph Morgan.
"It's episode 19, which is the first time we meet Klaus," said Plec. "We're also going back into the past.
"You always need your villains to have multiple layers and to be able to kill you with kindness as much as they can kill you with violence. I think Joseph really represents that."
Show star Ian Somerhalder, who plays the vampire Damon Salvatore, has previously stated that he too is excited for Klaus to make an appearance. "I think everyone's on their toes now more. Because he's a badass," he said.
